β β β β β Quite a bit outside of the touristic area in Rome lies the "one sense".. Special in quite a lot of ways... For sure to mention the perfect hospitality and the excellent food and drinks... But additionally the fact that deaf people work here together with people who have this "one sense"... This gives an incredible experience at least from our perspective and for sure a respectful bow for this idea and the power to make it come reality ... Never stop ...

β β β β β My first meal in Italy, and it was not a disappointment! I had pizza Pro-Fumo, and it was excellent! For dessert, I had a chocolate brownie, which was nice but I was happier with the pizza. Pizza was β¬12, which was great; brownie a little pricey at β¬7.
750ml of sparkling water was only β¬2,50, which I thought was cheap -- at least, compared with Munich where I was last week!
Plus, the restaurant is some kind of disability-employer: the two waiters were deaf (their shirts said so), and some staff had sign-language training. I am pleased to have been able to support a restaurant supporting those with disabilities!

β β β β β One of, if not the best fillet I've ever eaten! It was tender and very delicious. The rest of the table enjoyed their meals too. The waiters are also friendly.
It took some time for the dishes to arrive but it was worth every minute! Would definitely recommend to others.

β β β β β We discovered this very special and chic looking restaurant while wandering around the vibrant Garbatella district. The service was excellent, the staff always attentive and eager to please, and the moderately priced food couldn't have been more delicious. We had a couple of flavorful appetizers, the Caccio Pepe and the cod, and their own unique take on tiramissu that they call "Babamissu". What made the experience even more memorable was the fact that this restaurant is a project to provide work for hearing-impaired staff. We loved this place so much we made sure we went back for our last night in Rome.

β β β β β One Sense is an amazing restaurant.
Not speaking Italian ourselves we were not aware that the restaurant is run by deaf people. This fact truly made dining here an experience for us.
The staff was great, especially the owner who kept checking in to make sure everything was ok for us.
The restaurant has a very creative menu with surprising dishes, which all were delicious.
100% recommended for anyone who likes good food in a beautiful atmosphere.
