★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went here last Saturday on the recommendation of a friend and we were not disappointed! We booked ahead and had a lovely lunch. I am vegan and gluten free so after some checking, we were given a menu with the appropriate dishes marked (4 possibilities, of which I had 3!). The waitress also stressed that they only had one kitchen but I confirmed that slight potential cross contamination would not hurt - this shows they do understand the issues, though. I had hummus (so good!) with steamed cavolo nero and fried chicory. It was all just so incredibly brilliant. We shared the house white wine which was the best we'd had all week. It's a lovely little venue in a nice park and only a few minutes' walk from the metro station. After a little walk around the neighbourhood, we went back for coffee/tea. We'd love to see it in the summer when it's in full swing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely venue in the heart of Garbatella. Nice outside area also next to a public park. However, it often gets overcrowded and staff doesn't really seem to know how to manage the situation without running like headless chickens. The menu is also quite limited and eating here it's not as cheap as people tend to say. Though, you can get cocktails for €3.50 which is a pretty fair price. A good choice if not too busy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very different experience in Rome. Set in the open air, but in an area of its own. In the middle of a historic working class district with a unique identity and architecture. Good food in the traditional Roman style, and very quickly served. Interesting company. No pretensions. A place to feel at home in when the weather is pleasant.
