★ ★ ★ ★ ★ NOT RECOMMENDED! They charged us with one more dish of carbonara, so we paid a Total of 18€ instead of 9€ (The Price for one carbonara dish). What's more, we pointed out the mistake in the bill, but They were reluctant in removing The extra carbonara dish from the Bill by claiming that it was just the half Price of one carbonara dish, which is clearly not True. They were alzo really impolite overall!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Genuine homemade Roman traditional cuisine. The place is really familiar cozy, food is just amazing and the staff is nice and helpful. Get a reservation cause it's easily fully booked. Really worth it.
Recommendation: Tonnarelli Cacio & Pepe, polpette al sugo

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For a restaurant in a popular neighborhood like Garbatella i would expect better and more food. The antipasti were very average ( the tiniest mozzarella I have ever gotten in Rome) and three secondi as well ( except the Bacalá of the house which was quite good). The inner room ambient was terrible, so much light and so poorly decorated... Nothing hanging in the walls also meant there was a terrible sound reverberating everywhere.
Tanto per magnà might have been a good place back in the day ( I was recommended to go by a local friend) but it has really not much to offer nowadays.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a find! The popularity of this restaurant with locals is all you need to know. The service was friendly, and the waitress went out of her way to translate to English for us when she realised we were foreign, the place was bustling, the portion sizes were huge and the food most excellent. Would definitely recommend if you're in the neighbourhood.

Typical Italian cousine from Rome, here you are able to try the authentic CARBONARA, CACIO E PEPE, AMATRICIA and so far...
Very nice place, not so fancy, but classic style good price and amazing food quality.
This unique name you can find only around Garbatella, this neighborhood has story behind which is incredible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pasta portions are huge, watch out! I took home what I could not finish and had enough for 2 more servings. There is quite a bit of saltiness and an abundance of fatty guanciale in the Rigatoni all’Amatriciana. Personally I hope that Italian Cuisine is not trending towards Italian-American food where more is not always best. The service is very good, friendly, the location is typical of the Garbatella.
