It serves as a training ground and economic boon for marginalized young people, including immigrants, refugees and disenfranchised Italians, and gives them the opportunity to hone their cooking and service skills in a supportive space. Open from morning to night, it boasts a cafΓ©, a pasticceria and a restaurant that combines Mediterranean flavors with the native cuisines of its employees β order a buffet plate at lunch or dishes like tempura, ceviche, cous cous and kofta Γ la carte at dinner.

β β β β β While searching for a new restaurant to try, Altrove came up in top 10 restaurants recommended in Rome. Indeed, the reviews were on point and we really enjoyed our food and wine experience. Personally, I enjoyed everything dish I tried. My favourite of the night, however, was tiramisu.

β β β β β Went there for a special occasion to celebrate my boyfriendβs birthday. We had the most wonderful service, the Ambiente of the whole restaurant is beautiful, and the food was beyond delicious and creative. Definitely try the mixed platter as starter and I can highly recommend their house wine. 100% will go back there whenever we are in rome again!

Service was excellent as servers catered to us attentively the whole dining period. Great alternative dining experience in Rome. Iβm so glad to find this gem and will spread to words to locals and tourists
