Scopro solo oggi che è stato modificato l'orario in chiusura definitiva!!! Neanche sul loro sito esiste un accenno alla chiusura o alla loro dipendenza delle scuole !!! Organizzazione e comunicazione da rivedere.. Disappointment, no indication of their definitive closure on June 4th in conjunction with the closure of the schools. I only find out today that the timetable for the definitive closing has been changed !!! Not even on their site there is a mention of the closure or their dependence on schools !!! G	GULINO rosario ROSARIO gulino on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tante farfalle enormi e molti insetti in bella mostra c'erano presso: LA CASA DELLE FARFALLE in MODICA (RG) quando ci andai tempo fa per una graziosa visita, mentre per la casa delle farfalle in SIRACUSA (SR) non saprei che dire/scrivere perché non ci sono andato finora e non è nemmeno in programma di andarci. Many huge butterflies and many insects on display were at: LA CASA DELLE BUTTERFLY in MODICA (RG) when I went there some time ago for a nice visit, while for the butterfly house in SIRACUSA (SR) I don't know what to say / write because I haven't been there so far and isn't even planning to go.
o	omar alashheb on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ tappa obbligata. una struttura storica perfettamente mantenuta, uno scrigno che racchiude cose mai viste, piante aromatiche sconosciute, insetti tropicali e... farfalle a non finire. crisalidi che si schiudono e un personale molto competente e formato!! obligatory stop. a perfectly maintained historical structure, a casket that contains things never seen before, unknown aromatic plants, tropical insects and ... butterflies to no end. pupae that hatch and a very competent and trained staff !!

Il posto e gestito da giovani ragazzi gentili e preparati. La location è molto bella e ben tenuta. Questo posto è perfetto secondo me per i bambini e le famiglie. Located in a historic building, the butterfly house of Modica in my opinion is a beautiful place to spend an alternative Sunday morning. The place is run by kind and prepared young guys. The location is very beautiful and well kept. This place is perfect in my opinion for children and families.

Il percorso inizia (4 euro adulti e 3 bambini) con un sentiero tra le piante aromatiche delle quali è possibile sentire le fragranze si prosegue con alcune teche ben organizzate contenenti inserti (un gruppetto di biologi spiega le varie caratteristiche). Il percorso continua con la stanza delle api (deludere) e si conclude con la stanza delle farfalle. In questo ambiente ricco di piante volano numerose farfalle (se il tempo è soleggiato) ognuna delle quali mostra le sue meraviglie.
