★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nello stretto passaggio fornito da Via Landolina, non sfugge, all'occhio più attento, la splendida facciata della Chiesa del Collegio dei Gesuiti. Purtroppo chiusa da tantissimi anni. Sono stati appaltati i lavori per terminarne il restauro e il consolidamento: speriamo sia presto riaperta!
In the narrow passage provided by Via Landolina, the splendid facade of the Church of the Jesuit College does not escape the most careful eye. Unfortunately closed for many years. The works were completed to finish the restoration and consolidation: hopefully it will soon reopen!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa è barocca ed annessa al Convento dei Gesuiti, consacrata ai Santi Ignazio di Loyola e Giuseppe. È un edificio maestoso, la chiesa più grande di Ortigia con il Duomo, ma pur essendo molto bella, a causa delle viuzze strette, non si riesce ad ammirare pienamente l'imponenza della costruzione.
The church is Baroque and annexed to the Jesuit Convent, consecrated to Saints Ignatius of Loyola and Giuseppe. It is a majestic building, the largest church in Ortigia with the Duomo, but despite being very beautiful, due to the narrow streets, it is not possible to fully admire the grandeur of the building.
