★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Charming wine estate and wooden panel style restaurant with a lovely and understated atmosphere. When you order your pasta check the menu for the 'homemade' pasta items for the best experience. I would describe my pasta and ingredients as fresh and delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Despite being in the middle of the touristic center, the restaurant is small, cozy with friendly staff. It wasn't overly full, despite it being a Friday evening. The food was excellent (we had pasta and as dessert cheesecake), together with a bottle of water we paid 30€ for two people. Absolutely reasonable, although plates with meat would have doubled the price. From what we could see, the meat looked just as great as the pasta.

The waitress charged 10 euros more for a Ribolla Gialla, from 26 to 36 euro and tried to “defend” the situation saying she had brought the old wine list, than she said it was her colleague but she was working alone. Will never come back, not because of this small mistake but because she started yelling and being very rude, than she made a mistake charging us and came back asking for 70 cents more, accusing us to have paid less. It was a nightmare, we were 5 people. Never will come nor recommend this to anyone. This was at 11.00pm , 19 May.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best food we've had in Firenze, full of flavour and good portion size. The steak with truffles was extraordinary and melt-in-your-mouth delicious, paired well with roasted potatoes as a side. The panna cotta was nice and homey with blackcurrant jam, that paired very well with it.
Inside of the restaurant is nice and intimate, and it was full most of the time we were there almost immediately after opening for dinner, so happy that they're doing well! Absolutely deserve it.

La Cantinetta has friendly, knowledgeable staff who go out of their way to make you feel welcome, incredible service and delicious food, it also have a lovely environment. Definitely worth a visit. Amazing price for the quality you get here. thanks for the experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a late dinner here and loved it. Shared the prosciutto and burrata appetizer, green gnocchi with cherry tomatoes and burrata, and a steak with green pepper sauce. We capped the meal with panna cotta and perhaps the best caramel I've ever eaten.
Great food, very reasonable, will go back!
Oh, and laugh all you want but the french fries were outstanding!
