★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good off the main road tavern. It serves ok food at really reasonable prices (given the location) the service is really nice and child friendly.
Not a gourmet meal.. but that's not what you go in there for.
Would recommend for tourists who want to avoid being flogged by unscrupulous restaurateurs

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service was pretty good. The food was absolutely not good. I had the ravioli and potatoes, and if it wasn’t so cheap, I’d give a lower review. Honestly, the water and service were the best parts of the meal. They have Vermintino that tastes like water. Whoever is cooking food should pick a different career path.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice, simple and cheap. We sat downstairs, it had a cosy vibe. Wild boar pasta was okay, didn’t have a great depth of flavour but I’m still glad I tried it. Also, the location is very central, close to attractions

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ate here twice while in Florence. Cheap prices for decent food. I had the lasagna and the boar sauce pasta. The house white wine is very cheap and delicious, some of the best I had on my trip. Love the family feel of the place and the cozy basement has such a wonderful rustic vibe.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a wonderful experience at Osteria Nuvoli. We sat in a beautiful wine cellar basement and drank a delicious house red. Our favorite dish was the Pappardelle. We came in the afternoon and there was no need for a reservation. We would recommend this cozy restaurant for anyone looking for lunch near duomo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful, cozy restaurant with a beautiful basement-level dining room. Very unassuming but the menu lacks a wallop. I loved the lasagna, marinated olives, and sundried tomatoes so much. Great comfort food on a chilly day in Florence. The price is right as well. Well worth trying out for lunch or dinner when you’re out and about.
