★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Never had such bad service experience. One older server was assigned at our table, he completely forgot to order our meals. When asked, he blamed us, and then promptly forgot to speak english. Never apologized. Other servers were friendly and food was good, but you really should avoid this place, a server later told me this was a common occurence with him.

In San Gimignano are a lot of places where you can eat. They are ok. This not. The food isn‘t worth the price. The drinks are ok. But also somewhere else. The staff is unfriendly. Just have a drink in front of the duomo. That is really good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Looking at reviews from 2 years ago and seeing that the old waiter used to be a negative point I wonder if the business reads it's reviews as the same waiter is still a big problem; wasn't only for us but also for other customers. A few even left because of his attitude.
The other waiters and waitresses are trying hard, the food is decent and the price isn't too bad but an employee who treats their customers like a nuisance is unnecessary. We usually order an "after-food" cappuccino but didn't want to stay longer this time - just better to get your food somewhere else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a wonderful meal and experience at La Biscondola during our trip to San Gimignano a couple weeks ago. The food was delicious and the staff was very kind and helpful. Even though our waiter spoke very good english, we did our best to order in Italian and he seemed very pleased with our efforts. I had the spaghetti carbonara and the house white wine and it was very good. I would recommend.
