★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rude security guy is forcing people to wear FFP2 masks to cross the passport control while himself and the flight attendants wear just normal masks.
It’s a shame that such rude staff ruin the reputation of such a nice airport in such a beautiful town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Reviewing the Just Poke space after the border checking - the size of the poke doesn’t change between regular and large. I went for the large option and was a bit disappointed in seeing that it’s the same size as the regular one but costs €2 more. It might be a bit more loaded than the regular one but still a bit disappointing. The ingredients were really fresh and tasty, and it was nice to have a choice like a poke behind the border control as usually you never have that much choice (especially following a vegan diet!) I just wish they were bigger!

Unfortunately my experience was let down by some rude and incompetent members of staff, resulting in me nearly missing my flight.
My flight was delayed, and after an hour of no updates, we were told priority passengers could board. I was not priority, so waited for non-priority boarding.
The call never came. I sat and waited and waited, the information board still showed "delayed" and after not having any announcements I went to ask the gate staff what was happening. I arrived and was told "flight is closed. You're too late". I pointed out that there had been no announcements, and that I wasn't the only passenger waiting, and that the information board still showed "delayed".
I was allowed on after arguing with the gate staff for a while, and had to argue even more for them to allow me to go and grab my girlfriend who was sitting not too far away.
A nice airport, but my experience was unfortunately ruined by the member of staff at my gate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I liked this airport. It's small but well organized, with many seating areas just in front of the gates. The shops and food places are elegant and the atmosphere is in general pleasurable. In fact, it's quite scenic, since you can see the city (Bergamo) and the mountains outside while waiting. You can park in front of the airport entrances for free for the usual 10 minutes. Just next to it there's a shopping mall too, should you need to waste some time.

2 beautiful cities
The airport wasn’t the best.. not enough seats and many homeless people taking shelter inside the terminal building
Sad to see but was understandable
I’ll give it 2 stars
There’s certainly much worse
Security was extremely bad with a terrible layout
We spent 5 hours there mostly on the ground and on the closed McDonald’s sofas
I’m a budget traveller and I’m used to this type of thing so for me it wasn’t too much hassle but for other there was a lot of discomfort especially for the elderly and young kids
If you’re young and hippie it’s okay if you can handle it and want a cheap airport with cheap flights

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my first google reviews ever because this is the only place I felt like I really have to write about. I’ve traveled through many airports in my life but I’ve never seen an airport closing down the whole section of departures for the night! Everybody in the departures terminal thrown out and there’s absolutely no space at arrivals section. Lots of people sleeping and laying down on the ground including many families with small kids. Absolutely ridiculous. Also let alone any open restaurants or cafes there’s not even a food automat. Worst airport ever in the middle of Europe!

Getting here was very easy and affordable from Milan Central station with the Orio Shuttle if you purchase tickets one day ahead of time (10€).I saw mostly low cost airlines here. The layout is actually pretty visually appealing for an airport of its size. If you have Priority Pass access, go through the landside lounge to check in and skip all of the lines and then get priority security. Once inside, there is a decent variety of shops and a beautiful view of the mountains. The Airside priority pass lounge was also very pretty. I would fly through here again.
