β β β β β We were lost in one of the many small lanes in Venice,hungry and thirsty after an early morning flight from London. We did not want to eat at the many modern cafΓ© as we were looking for a local pizza place where local Venizian prefer to eat. Viola! We found this small , cozy and no frills place with the most friendly and ever smiling baker ( 2 middle aged men). Their pizza by slice and focaccia bread was the best I have ever tasted in the whole of Venice and very pocket friendly too! This is a must eat place. Even the local Venizian love it. They would just walk in their PJ's and grab a slice or whenever they pass by the shop they will smile and wave at the two most lovely souls with magic hands!?. People, if you ever visit Venice please stop by this place.

β β β β β Fantastic place for a quick slice and gelato on the run. In a narrow road slightly off the beaten track. Simple looking place but superb pizza with delicious crust and cheap - β¬1.70 for a large slice of margarita (August 2017) and slightly more for other toppings. They also do made to order pizzas from β¬6 but the ready made ones are perfectly fresh and hot. Gelato was also great.

β β β β β This place has the Best pizza by the slice. We had two slices and a whole bottle of wine for less than 13 euros. The pepperoni was so tasty! The pizza crust was thin and crispy. The owner was very kind and friendly. You can tell he is well liked around the neighborhood as everyone who passes stops and waves, exchanges greetings or grabs a quick bite. After a long train ride to Venice this was the perfect snack! On our way out we had to stop by once more. There are some great restaurants in town, but this was one of our favorite quick spots. Itβs standing only with about 4 cocktail tables. Itβs cozy and charming. I highly recommend this place! The pictures say it all.

β β β β β We gave it a try because all the restaurants/osterias in Venice are extremely expensive. Wow, good pizza, we ordered and it took less than 5 minutes to have it ready, and 7β¬ for a salami pizza. Unbeatable! 100% recommend ?
