★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When I'm in Venice and I want pizza, this is where I go. I don't have to buy an entire pizza, but the single slice I get here is very large. Campo Santa Margherita is a great place for people watching, so I grab a bench and eat my pizza there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ate in Pizza al Volo 3 times during my stay in the city and this pizza is absolutely delicious! The best I ate in Venise :) And what is also the best about this place - you can eat there also late at night even after midnight! They close at 2 am :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best and cheapest pizza in Venice. I have been coming here for 4 years and it is still the best choice if you're on a budget. Thin dough and a good crust with lots of toppings.
You can also spice it up with chilli, oregano, basil etc. afterwards.

Walking by it doesn’t look like much (especially if you are going off of this pizza already sitting out), but TRUST ME when I say order yourself a normal size pie (we got pepperoni) and then sit out on the bench in the open square and enjoy the sounds and entertainment of others passing by and children playing and then enjoy what is surely some of the best pizza you will ever have. One of my favorite Venice memories and the BEST PIZZA I HAVE EVER HAD!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ate one Funghi (6€-regular size). I paid 7€ with drink. It was huge and very tasty. I highly recommend taking it out of the oven and serving it fresh. Just no place to sit unfortunately. You can use the surrounding benches to eat your meal.
