★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It seemed to be a mini museum about the time in which Dante lived, more than a look into his personal life. There were 0 items related to him or the way he lived, except for a couple of book shelves filled with his books (not handwritten or old though). It was very tiny, nice interactive elements but after a maximum of 15 minutes you will have seen it all and learned very little.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you're a fan of Dante, this is a must visit place in Florence. This is a hidden gem very close to Palazza Vecchio and Ponte Vecchio, yet hard to find without a map. The entrance was only €4 but it totally worth that price. You'll see many works of Dante including the (I think) the original copy of Divine Comedy. There are a several floors to see, so it might take 1 or 1.5 hours to cover everything.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Florence is not a large city, but it has a large number of museums. It's difficult to tell which one is legitimate and which one is taking advantage of history to sell its services to an eager public. The so-called house of Dante is a structure that was built in the 20th century on the site that is supposed to be where Dante lived part of his life. That said, for fans of Dante, that detail won't matter as much as the exhibits.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great interactive museum and engages you in learning. If you dont like to listen to videos or read history from the monitors TVs. This is not something you should come too as it doesnt have lots of displays like in a typical museum.
