★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spaghetti carbonara was thick and dry. Like a cheap Mac and cheese. Location is great, looks attractive, but food and service are less than average. Prices are very high.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved our stay. The staff is helpful and friendly, the hotel is lovely and set right on the main piazza in Torno. Room is simple but very nice and ours had a lovely view of the lake.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent Italian food directly at the lake. Only miss is the non-cosy lights and chairs inside the restaurant and on the terrace. An interior designer should be able to fix this for a small budget to make it 5 stars. Looking fwd. to come back soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location is incredible. The view is one of the best you can get on lake Como. The service is great, staff is attentive and kind. High quality food with good presentation but missing out on taste in some dishes, a bit below expectations with respect to the high prices.
