Peccato solo che alcuni prodotti ordinati non erano disponibili e questo ha comportato alcune variazioni in corso quando giá pregustavo quello specifico piatto, ma tutto il resto è andato bene Satisfying experience. Absolutely fair prices. Beautiful view from the Aeolian terrace. Just a pity that some products ordered were not available and this led to some variations going on when I was already looking forward to that specific dish, but everything else went well

Frittura di pesce indecente, con materia prima davvero orrenda. Nessun dolce fatto in casa ma solo confezionati. Meglio lavorare solo come albergo, non hanno idea di cosa sia un ristorante. Uniche note positive la vista e il servizio. Conto eccessivo, soprattutto i 15€ per la frittura di pesce minuscola e insapore Disappointing dinner. Per il resto, terrazzo spaziale, cibo senza infamia e senza lode, servizio dilettantistico. Non offrono ai clienti vino in bottiglia sebbene il frigo ne sia pieno, evidentemente le bottiglie servono tutte al sommo Direttore 72 euros of account, but 65 if paid in cash. Fate voi. Doccia spesso fredda e altre carenze. When asked "why don't you use a mask in the kitchen and at table service?" the owner replies that the pandemic is a big hoax and that if we had vaccinated we were fine !!! You do. Tutto profuma di buona, dalla torta appena sfornata alla marmellata di arance al succo di melograno fresco! The view is enchanting, the room original and clean, the cuisine based on fish and typical Sicilian dishes is excellent: you feel pampered like at home by your grandmother! Everything smells good, from freshly baked cake to orange marmalade to fresh pomegranate juice!

The rooms are simple, but the incredible views, the serenity, and the warm hospitality of Enzo, Grazia and their family make this a truly special place. From the hotel you can easily walk to any of the trailheads or in 15 minutes down to one of the beaches, they can also arrange boat tours, fishing etc. When you get back - to what will soon feel like home - you will be rewarded with a dip in what is surely one of best located swimming pools in the world. Float or sit with an aperitivo and watch the sky change over the other Aeolian Islands, laid in front of you like a string of pearls. After if you are lucky you will be able to watch the moon rise through the red haze of Stromboli’s belching crater from the open dining terrace, while you devour local specialties made with the freshest ingredients, including herbs picked from the owner’s garden. Those who are in on the secret have been coming for decades in some cases, and it gives the place a feeling of community, with relaxed banter and many a round of amaro flowing among the guests and staff after dinner. Filicudi is not for everyone - if you enjoy shopping, spas, a variety of restaurants etc this is simply not the island for you. But if you want a tranquil active break, to stop time for a few days, and to stay somewhere where you are looked after more like family than a random hotel room number, then there is simply nowhere better than Filicudi and La Canna.
