★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Too crowded .. but it was a Saturday evening. Food creative but really average. Too noisy and service super hectic. Not for relaxing ... maybe I should give it another go .. another night .. maybe not!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing location and views. Food was good. But our aperitivo and dinner was overshadowed by unfriendly staff and end off season vibe. Too bad cause locals seemed to enjoy themselves.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably great if you're Italian. Ate here for dinner and our waiter laughed and joked with the table nearest to us while ignoring us for an hour. (Better to buy homemade food from the lady set up on the outdoor tables nearby.) Had breakfast here and the cashier was confounded by the simplest order.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful decor, great place for not pricy beer, friendly staff, tasty but extremely overpriced food, really you pay for the view. I got the fried bits, which were very tasty, but for 6 bits on an empty sad plate I payed the joy of 15 euros. They didn't even bring me the silverware at all... I reported to the kitchen, and they offered 3 espresso.
Go there just for drinks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ RESTAURANT ONLY: great location on the beach, but the food is not as good as it once was. Prices have gone up while portion sizes and quality seems to have gone down - my €18 primi dish had only 6-8 pieces of paccheri on the plate and some of them were actually undercooked (not al dente, but actually raw so you couldn’t cut or bite all the way through).
A shame because I had some truly excellent lunches here the last time, but that was a few years ago and seems the kitchen has changed since then...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely the best food and service in the island. Excellent ingredients, young set-up and vibe, exquisite menu choice that changes every day. The prices are average for the island (fairly high end), but the view, the quality and the service make up for the cost. We have been 3 times when in Filicudi!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had an amazing stay at the Pensione Ristorante La Sirena. We already visited the place for the 3rd time and as always we really enjoyed the 4 nights stay.
The 4 rooms available are small but charming and clean. Waking up with that view is amazing. The restaurant is something we are always looking for when we visit the aeolian islands: The food is simply great!
Last but not least the team in the hotel and restaurant is super friendly, helpful and they really know what they do. Even if the atmosphere is relaxed one can see that most of the staff has experience in gastronomy. We especially like the spirit of the young team.
Many thanks to Alberto and his team - we are looking forward to visit you again soon!
