Gave us an old Jeep, dirty with rubish in glove compartment and Missing Tank Cap. When I told the blond guy with beard he didnt give a sh...! Last Time with Hertz!!! Service & quality of cars with Sixt & Avis is Just so much of a difference! Avoid Hertz!

F	Fredrik on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My worst car rental experience. I had booked and even pre-paid a rental car several months ahead of our family vacation at the Garda lake. Once we arrived from Sweden I could not find my driver’s license. So we figured my wife could rent the car instead, we’ve both had our licenses for 20+ years. According to the Hertz station manager, this was impossible. Since I had booked, only I could rent the car. The only option offered was for me to cancel my reservation entirely with a 90 euro penatly fee(!) We couldn’t even rent a new car since there were none available and ”my” car would go to a waiting list of other customers. Unbeleivable!! So Hertz left us there at the airport, 90 euros short without a car. Luckily we got a car and excellent service from SIXT instead which totally saved our vacation. Really bad brand management for Hertz and their station manager at the Villafranca airport should not work in a service oriented profession!
E	Ernie Geefay on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you Google mapped the location of Hertz Rental car at the Verona airport and get a field next to the runway...DONT GO THERE. That IS not the right pin location for Hertz. The Hertz pick up and drop off locations are where all the other rental car agencies are. Just Google their locations and you should get there correctly. Follow the airport signs for RENTAL CARS. It's a little confusing but if you are dropping off a Hertz car enter through the arm barrier entrance to the the covered parking area. The HERTZ cars are the last rows to the far left of you so go down and turn left..and go as far as you can. There you will find all the Hertz cars and spaces. I just parked my car in one of the empty Hertz spaces and took the keys into the main office building and handed it to the woman at the desk. (There is a drop box below the counter area if you drop off after hours) that was it. No paperwork was given to me. I was in and out. If you need a ride back into the city there is a bus stop at the far end of the terminal where you can catch the 6 euro bus #199 back to the main train station and bus terminal
A	Artur on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Credit card requirement! Do not pre pay! I made reservation via mobile with partial pre-pay and in location they told me about credit card requirement. Without credit card they will not give you car even if it is possible to block some extra amount on debit card like other companies do. I lost whole day in airport looking for other car and Hertz doesn't return me my pre-payed money. They do not interesting in new potential customers - better to charge fee for administration loses in 100 euro once than having each time satisfied customer.
E	Eitan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very poor experience. Took over 45mins to process my reservation even though I was the only person at the counter with two staff helping. In the end the staff resorted to creating a manual, hand written contract. The staff were friendly but the check out time was unacceptable long. Car was full of scratches and left over pringles on the inside. Never had a car rental experience like this!

Cost increase by 30% compare to my reservation. return one day earlier -> not considered in invoice. Why? even after 10 days no answer received from Hertz. Thanks, I will not choose Hertz in furture.
D	Daan QuAI on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ dishonest location. car switched significantly from what was originally chosen and prepaid. additional charges added to credit card after self return. these were not chosen or agreed at reservation and the dispute process is endless and non responsive. one picks a reputable brand with expectations to avoid this kind of trouble but this locally managed franchise is obviously one that chooses to bend the rules to profit from non Italian speaking travelers. strong recommendation to AVOID.
