Stupid ppl work here. Huge queue. Unpolite staff. Stay away.

I got poor service at the desk, the woman at front desk said one price and charged another , 65% more then the price she said. not recomndad

Stay away. Worst rental experience ever! Never again.

Had an awful experience with Budget (Verona airport). Would recommend everyone to avoid this car rental service. Firstly, we booked and expected the car to have winter tyres in late January. But were offered to pay €30 per day extra, when we refused we were offered winter chains as a cheaper alternative. Consequently, we were charged extra €29 for these chains. We didn't want to spent time arguing and took the keys. The vehicle condition report was given us for signature together with other documents at the desk. We reviewed the car and found scratches, the representative at the parking told us the they are marked in the report and we have nothing to worry about. On return, the same representative said that we have to pay for damage as he found a new scratch. That was exactly the one on the front bumper that we saw initially. When we were issued a final invoice we were shocked: the rental fee that we paid via Expedia was just a part of the gross amount. We had to pay VAT (which should have been included into the initial rate paid online), location surcharge, road tax, winter chains hire, damage cost, damage admin fee. The position of the Budget office was that the fees quoted and paid via Expedia are not the final as we didn't rent the car directly from Budget. We wanted to prove that the scratch on the bumper was not our fault and requested video camera recordings, however, were refused and couldn't stay longer arguing as had a flight departure in one hour. We submit this complaint to the Budget head office and Expedia and count on consideration and refund of the charged extra fees.

Do not book with budget cars. Staff are at best ignorant, rude and very unhelpful when collecting and dropping off car. Staff at the reception where helpful but the collection and drop off staff are rude. Loris the staff member on duty to be honest was the most unhelpful person I have ever met. On arrival we had to force him to review the car with us which had numerous dents and scraps etc on return he was quick to review the car without invitation to check for scraps dents etc of which there was no additional ones. When we went to drop the car off, the drop off point is very confusing and not easily identified we ended up dropping the car about 10m for the collection point because we simply couldn’t access the drop off point and Loris wanted to charge us an additional €15 to move the car which is just ridiculous as is cost in excess of €450 for 9 days rental. Loris’ attitude was very patronizing and passsive aggressive it was like we were disturbing him. Bearing in mind we were driving in a different country and on the opposite side of the road that we are used to, it was really stressful having to negotiate the airport a second time. Really disappointed with this company and will not book with them again, there’re are plenty of other cheaper options available but I choose a more expensive option thinking the customer service would be better, big mistake. Addiionally he wanted me to sign something in Italian on return and had no English translation which I refused to sign as on booking the contract etc was available in both English and Italian. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!

Bit of a Q and a wait as usual but staff ploughed through and were helpful. Car was fine but just a bit of a shock when presented with invoice on return - about 3 times the price originally quoted on website due to add ons and insurance cover which is recommended. We ended up paying over £400 for a VW Golf for one week whereas the original figure quoted was £130.
