we made reservation before arriving Milano malpensa airport and we paid full amount at the time. Unfortunately, when we arrive the airport we couldn’t reach the agency and they don’t answer the calling. We had terrible time in the airport. Please make the refund the money immediately. Landed at 9H57, now it is 11H50! Th car is not ready. 45 minutes of waiting at the exit 10 and the same to sign the docs. Now everything is ready except the car! They take it to wash after signing the agreement. To me it is the first and last time!

I was supposed to rent a vehicle at 5:00 pm on 09/07/10. Our train from Lucerne Switzerland was delayed 30 mn and we didn’t arrive at the airport until 5:45. I attempted to call Green Motion several times but no one would answer the phone. Finally, at 6:10 pm the clerk from Herz was able to connect me with them. I was told that it was too late to cone pick us up at the airport even though they do not close until 6:30 pm. I tried to reason with the person on the phone but she hung up on me. I tried again the next day but was told that my reservation had been cancelled and again they hung up on me. If there was anything like a negative star, I would give Green Motion a -5. I will never rent from this company and if you value you money you shouldn’t either. Green Motion is a fraude!

After few minutes we left the shop in Milan, we noticed the rubber of the windshield wiper was missing. We returned to the shop, but they said that, since we signed a paper that the car was ok, we should pay for it. I have rented dozens of cars and never checked this kind of things. So if a small hidden piece of the engine was missing, I would have to pay for it too? We stopped at a Mac Donald's for a quick lunch before we noticed it, but since it was all rounded by glass windows and we parked right in front of it, we would have noticed someone ripping the rubber out (which took at least one minute for the repair guy at the car parts shop to do). We spent less than 30 euros to buy the rubber, but I lost some precious time arguing with them. Better be a car specialist to check all thousands of pieces of the car if you intend to rent there...

Avoid this rental if you can! We had a booking (partially paid for) for Wednesday evening 6 PM. The flight was delayed so we arrived at 6.30. By the time we got out of the arrivals, no one answered the phone which we were supposed to call to be picked up. Google maps indicated that the place is open til 8PM. So we walked to the rental lot and no one was there, the place was shut down. For this evening we couldn't get a car from other nearby rentals so we had to rent a room to stay overnight to reach the rental in the morning. No one even apologised for the extra cost and hassle they caused. Moreover - we missed part of the event why we came to Italy in the first place. Disappointed in the lack of respect!

Firstly, we have used green motion at Malpensa Airport for a few years with little problem, the people were friendly and efficient. Not on this occasion, they have moved the office and personnel. This rating is for today only. They took 45mins to collect us from the airport, from the phone call. No apology for being late. At the airport she didn't help us load the car or open the doors, she preferred to sit in the car playing on her mobile phone. The hire car was very dirty, I had to ask for an alternative, and finally got it, though the car was still not so clean. She did not even help us transfer our bags from car to car. There was no apology, and only appeared to do her job begrudgingly. All this with our very tired little 3 year old boy who needed a sleep after an early start. Unfortunately we will be thinking twice about booking with green motion in future. I have never experienced such appalling customer service and such bad attitude. We all have difficult days in work, but should be grateful we have a job!

The car we received was very good value for money, and exceeded our expectations! Car rental is located a few minutes away from the terminal, but with free pickup upon notification at arrival. Saved a lot of time compared with the huge queues at the rental companies located in the terminal building. Service oriented staff and good car, would not hesitate to rent with them again!
