★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unvorstellbar, dass hier oben unter unwirtlichen Bedingungen vor allem im Winter 4 Jahre lang ein unerbittlicher Krieg tobte. Die Goldsee-Stellung diente vor allem der Sicherung der Nachschubwege für die vorderste Front am Stilfser Joch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Luogo magnifico nella più totale tranquillità della natura di alta quota , immerso in un contesto di testimonianze belliche dei secoli passati che fanno riflettere , si può scegliere tra una miriade di sentieri di varia difficoltà e visite ai ghiacciai , peccato che molte strutture ricettive non siano attive e che la quasi totalità delle attività alle 17:30 chiudano . Comunque esperienza da ripetere.
