★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avoid this place... just so you know the horse or cat that they want 30 euro for are serious 2 for 5 down the street or in a back ally over there. Dont waste the money! The island is big dont get trapped!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I visited in the fall of 1999. It was the second tour of a glass factory, the first being in West Virginia. Murano has to be tops everywhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very informative glass show but there is a shop before the factory and it was very expensive compared to other places on the island. There was some man following everyone around like puppy dog and pressuring them to buy the whole time. He never left us alone. Pass this store and keep going ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our hotel provided a free water taxi and we were treated to a display of 'Murano Glass' being made, all courtesy of our hotel. It was magnificent to see these craftsmen at work and seeing stuff being made of glass. There was no hard push to purchase, but we did buy a couple of glasses to take home. They are not cheap, but the quality is superb and well worth the price..
