★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very small restaurant with limited space and small menu. Extremely authentic experience with really nice simple food. Try to book a table, since they are usually fully booked if you just show up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely delicious dinner. First night in Rome and this meal did not disappoint. Extremely fresh ingredients. The bruschetta, caprese salad, lasagna, and eggplant Parmesan were all amazing. Small, intimate setting with only 4 tables— food was made to order. Highly recommend this restaurant!! Also, the service by Fabio was excellent.

We got the carbonara, cacio e pepe and the porchetta.
The pasta was really good and the pork was tender and the skin was crispy and flavourful.
The owner was extremely friendly and gave us recommendations of what we should get, as well as giving us some samples and making us feel very welcome.
Would recommend coming again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fraschetteria is a one-man show and what a show it is! Be prepared to wait for 20+ minutes for food because he takes the time to make it for you. Drink some wine and relax! The place has only around 6 tables so make sure to book in advance. We had the bruschetta platter and it was amazing! And then we had the carbonara and the truffe tagliatelle with mushroom cream, also divine! Possibly the best carbonara i have ever had. The Tiramisu was also very nice and light. 5 stars to Fraschetteria!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ TLDR: A rare find and an incredible humble owner that takes time out of his day to give a meaningful and absolutely delicious dining experience.
If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. Not only do I normally not leave reviews, I was taken away by my experience here and felt it necessary to tell the story.
We arrived around 3:40pm after walking close to 20 mins in a rainy day. He had an appointment at 4:15pm and instead of turning us away he delayed his appointment for me and my partner to have dinner.
He then proceed to take our order and prepare what turned out to be absolutely delicious meal. We started with the signature plate, the Brushetta followed by two pastas the Gricia and Carbonara. The Brushetta had crunchy and delicious bread, the best we had tried in our whole stay. The Carbonara and Gricia we without a doubt the most amazing pastas we tried in our stay in Italy.
Even when his card read broke, he had the patience to let me walk over to the nearest ATM and get cash to pay for the meal despite already delayed his appointment. I cannot recommend Frashetteria any more

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not sure why this place has 4.6 stars. Two microwave pasta cost us 28 euro. As a microwave pasta, the taste was not bad to be honest, but who would want to pay the restaurant price for a microwave pasta? if anyone still insist to go, you can keep an eye on the counter, that's the place your pasta come from.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant is truly amazing! Fresh authentic ingredients that taste amazing! My partner and I shared a meat platter to start which had a selection of house meats and cheeses which were delicious! Then we had the star of the night the porchetta which was roasted with lots of herbs and melted in your mouth. Had the house wine to pair and it was amazing!
Overall had a great experience and it is definitely a must to visit when in Rome and want some amazing authentic food. Make sure you book in advance though as it does get busy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don’t care if he microwaves pasta or is heating up leftovers or whatever some (very few I may add) of these 1-star critics are saying, based on taste, texture, and service; 5-star.
This one man show is incredible. The pasta was spot on, so good I bought ANOTHER DISH. Yes, my wife and I ate the Lasagna for dessert. I mean, your pasta has to be so damn good for me to think, “I want more pasta for dessert.”
And it’s small and wonderfully quaint on the inside. But purposeful, the dried meat, which looks like devour, hangs above you (the uncut pieces of course). There is beautiful warm welcoming wood welcoming you and a wonderful owner who behind the mask is clearly smiling and wants to give you a special experience.
Make a reservation, eat here, be happy.
