We ended up back at her store twice during our five day stay because we loved her and her leather goods so much! She had a beautiful selection to pick from and made custom bags for four people in our group; even designing a brand new bag with my friends’ desired style. Truly the best customer service I’ve ever received in any retail setting. Her online shop will be a go-to for future gifts and I cannot wait to get back to Rome to visit her and her shop. The owner Ilaria was very friendly and replied fast. She offered a customization to add initials on a bag . That sounds very good. I ordered a bag with pick up in her store. Store located in city center. My parents came and took the bag. They were very glad of quality and care of service When people really love their business and their customers it deserves a big respect. I wish new models and prosperity to Grecale bags Andrey

We commissioned a belt for myself and a handbag for my wife. They are both fantastic. Em has used her bag for work with a laptop in, to go out shopping and pretty much anything in between everyday since it arrived. We are very happy with both and really enjoyed speaking with Ilaria during the process. Was super easy and absolutely what we wanted. The quality is top level and we will definitely be shopping at Grecale again. Cannot recommend highly enough.
S	Shannon Hapgood Lubell on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Walked in last night and the owner Ilaria (a very kind and helpful former Johnson and Johnson Project Manager) helped me to pick the leather, zipper, hardware, label color and lining of a beautiful hobo model she had displayed. She took out two different spools of black leather so that I could pick out the grain. I asked if a cell phone pocket could be added inside like with other models and suggested a spot. She said that she hadn't thought to do that in the hobo, but that my idea seemed good and she will add it. I will pick my bag up tomorrow and am very excited to see the final product. Please note, I've never been into designer handbags. My husband promised me a leather purse in Italy for Mother's Day and our wedding anniversary. I looked at other shops, but knew that this purse truly would be made in Italy, and not the PRC. And what luck to spend the time to custom design it with the artisan. It is a bit more expensive than we planned (149 Euros), but I know it will be a gorgeous handbag that I will be proud to carry.

We all either left with a beautiful bag or worked with Ilaria for her to create a custom bag. In some cases, she was able to create the bag before our flights home and other she shipped to us. I brought my mom back and she also fell in love with Ilaria and her work too. She has such a great sense of what you're personal sense of style is. For instance, my mom was debating certain colors for her bag - Ilaria suggested an eggplant color that wasn't even in consideration, but it suits her so well! She is such a lovely person, was a pleasure to work with and I love my bag. I constantly get compliments on it. I couldn't have asked for a better souvenir from Rome than a custom leather handbag.

The bags are completely customised and you can choose everything starting from the leather colour of your bag and finishing with the colour of accessorises or extra pockets. The leather is very high quality and the price is very reasonable for such a handcrafted item. The owner Ilaria was also so friendly and very helpful! She helped me a lot to choose my bag and she made the most perfect customised bag for me. I love my bag and I carry it everywhere, and I got already so many compliments about it. I also got a bag for my mom as a present and she is also very happy about it. I would recommend anyone to visit this shop!?
