★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Domenica 6 marzo abbiamo visitato la fortezza con la guida di Alessandro M. È stato tutto molto interessante, sorprendente lo stato di conservazione. Consiglio vivamente la visita guidata.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Niente da ridire su quello che si può vedere dall'esterno. Peccato però non aver potuto visitare l'interno. Alle 14.30 di domenica 17 aprile 2022 era chiuso l'ufficio informazioni così come l'accesso al museo e alla fortezza. Forse perché domenica di Pasqua. Forse perché orario di chiusura prandiale. Ma sarebbe bastato un semplicissimo cartello che informasse l'ignaro turista sull'eventuale chiusura festiva o sui successivi orari di apertura. O forse è chiedere troppo ?!

At 2.30 pm on Sunday 17 April 2022 the information office was closed as well as access to the museum and the fortress. Maybe because Easter Sunday. Perhaps because of the closing time of the meal. But a very simple sign would have been enough to inform the unsuspecting tourist about any holiday closure or subsequent opening hours. Or maybe that's too much to ask ?!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Costruita dagli Aldobrandeschi e in seguito passato agli Orsini, è una fortezza imponente e maestosa, dotata di molti passaggi sotterranei che è possibile visitare. Attraverso l'ingresso principale situato in un torrione, si scende via via per finire nel cuore del borgo.
