★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is probably the most spectacular option for a stay in Sorano. However, don't expect to find luxury there, this hotel is not about that, it's about spectacular views over the valley. The rooms are not big but decent, clean, and comfortable. You're not in Sorano to waste time in a hotel room anyway, you need a nice place where you can take a shower and sleep well after a long day exploring this gem of a little town (plus the nearby Pitigliano).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a magical place, very nice, nice staff, nice food. Only downside although very important: the wifi in room number 2 was totally absent. No internet in room number 2 i am afraid.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great host Christian. We made a late entrance with no reservation. he had a last room available discount! And let us dine in the restaurant late. High class restaurant wines and meat! Waking up in the castle is amazing, great views. This is not a regular sleep over, this is an experience. I enjoyed it to the max. Nice breakfast included.

owner Christiano was nice, professional and accommodating! good dining experience of the surrounding produce at the in-house restaurant too. he also recommended vineyard and olive oil producers in the area

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Big regret - wish we stayed for more than only one night!!! Loved this hotel and surrounding villages. Had an amazing time exploring the medieval town. So much fun. The homemade pasta at nearby cafe, churches, views were all perfect. Only 45 min away from Saturnia natural thermal springs-a must!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I loved my stay here and can recommend it to anyone visiting Tuscany, even if it means taking a little detour.
Sorano is a quaint little town with narrow streets with secrets to discover. It´s not overrun with tourists yet but I can see the potential of this town.
The service found at the hotel is outstanding. Everyone is kind and very professional. I had sent an email beforehand with a few questions that they kindly answered. The receptionist Federica made sure we had the best experience and offered a few activities that made our stay unforgettable.
I would love to come back here one day.
I can also recommend the restaurant.
