Google dice che è chiuso temporaneamente, ma non è assolutamente vero, anche perché non c'è un vero e proprio accesso da chiudere, ci si sale quando si vuole. Very nice! Unfortunately it is inaccessible for those who have difficulty walking on very steep and bumpy stairs. Il Sasso domina tutto il borgo e offre una vista panoramica sull'intera valle. Per raggiungerla, vi consiglio di lasciare l'auto al parcheggio appena fuori il borgo /davanti ai giardini) e imboccare la salita che trovate accanto al bar, sulla destra: arriverete in 5 minuti. In alternativa potete anche raggiungerla in auto (attenzione perchè la salita è un po' ripida). Purtroppo rimane poco o nulla dell'antica Rocca Aldobrandesca che vi sorgeva ma la visita, secondo me, vale ugualmente. L'accesso è libero. Attenzione però alla scalinata per raggiungere la cima: è un po' ripida e nei giorni di pioggia può essere scivolosa, soprattutto in discesa. Non è un'attrazione accessibile a tutti. If you love heights and pass by Roccalbegna, you must visit the Sasso (or Rocca Aldobrandesca). Il Sasso dominates the whole village and offers a panoramic view over the entire valley. To reach it, I recommend that you leave your car in the parking lot just outside the village / in front of the gardens) and take the slope that you find next to the bar, on the right: you will arrive in 5 minutes. Alternatively you can also reach it by car (be careful because the climb is a bit steep). Unfortunately little or nothing remains of the ancient Rocca Aldobrandesca that once stood there but the visit, in my opinion, is equally worthwhile. Access is free. But be careful of the steps to reach the top: it is a bit steep and on rainy days it can be slippery, especially downhill. It is not an attraction accessible to everyone.
