★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ci sono andato perché avevo letto della leggenda della testa di 'drago' e visto che ero in zona sono passato, ebbene ho trovato chiuso, e voci dicono sia aperto solo per Pasqua e Natale, ma sul posto non c'era nessuna indicazione.
Se ci volete andare informatevi in qualche modo sulle aperture
I went there because I had read about the legend of the 'dragon' head and since I was in the area I passed, well I found it closed, and rumors say it is only open for Easter and Christmas, but there was no indication on the spot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ È un posto bellissimo appartato in mezzo al verde. In origine era un convento di frati. Lo stile può definirsi rinascimentale. Il luogo è famoso perché custodisce le spoglie del conte Sforza signore di Santa Fiora il quale nel corso della propria vita uccise un rettile di notevoli dimensioni che infestava il fiume sottostante cibandosi di armenti e attaccando anche qualche frate del convento. Parte della testa di questo rettile è conservata nella cappella che è situata alla sinistra della chiesa conventuale
It is a beautiful secluded place in the middle of the green. Originally it was a convent of friars. The style can be defined as Renaissance. The place is famous because it contains the remains of Count Sforza, lord of Santa Fiora, who in the course of his life killed a large reptile that infested the river below feeding on herds and also attacking a friar from the convent. Part of the head of this reptile is preserved in the chapel which is located to the left of the convent church

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un luogo magico. Immerso in un contesto naturale bellissimo, tra i boschi. Nella cappella annessa al convento è conservato il cranio del "drago", presumibilmente un coccodrillo del Nilo fatto arrivare dall'allora signorotto del luogo.
A magical place. Immersed in a beautiful natural setting, among the woods. In the chapel annexed to the convent the skull of the "dragon" is preserved, presumably a Nile crocodile brought by the then lord of the place.
