Our day touring southern Tuscany with Sergio was a fabulous experience. My husband and I had sites we wanted to visit and Sergio put together the itinerary sequence so that even the drive from one place to another was a visual delight. In the van our conversations were enlightening as well as Sergio talked about contemporary Italy, explained what we were seeing, and pointed to some special spots to visit. He was very accommodating throughout the day and even went above and beyond several days later to return my sunglasses to me!

He was very friendly and knowledgeable and very welcoming towards our son. He even took us back to the other side of Lucca so he could get a special toy and souvenir. Overall, highly recommended.

He has a very friendly personality and spoke extremely good English. We had 4 adults and this is the perfect way to see Florence and other sites. We were traveling on a cruise ship and Sergio picked us up right off the ship and returned us in plenty of time for our departure. Sergio was also great about taking photos of us,this was especially nice. We wanted to use our time wisely so he took us to a local fast restaurant that served a hot meal and wine!! It was delicious and fast service. Highly recommend Florence Connection and Sergio!!

Sergio was prompt, courteous, and very interesting. He took us to the most amazing places. We stopped at a winery on the way and had a wonderful lunch and were able to try 9 fantastic wines. Once in Sienna we were amazed at the beauty and history of the city. During the entire trip he answered any questions we had and his knowledge of history and current events was outstanding. We would definitely recommend Sergio.

We went to restaurants and shops and markets that are authentic. For me, that is valuable about a new place. Her knowledge as an art historian is extensive. I count meeting Heliana, our experiences together, and the guidance I had for two days with her as the highlight of my trip to Florence!

Our driver Sergio met us at the cruise terminal and we were off in a very comfortable van for our trip to Pisa and Florence. Sergio was not only our driver but a wonderful source of information and knowledge. Sergio made our family feel comfortable and supported along the way. He included our boys (14 and 10 years old) in conversations and made sure they were enjoying the experience. We did a quick trip to Pisa and Sergio dropped us off right at the entrance to the Leaning Tower Piazza and picked us up at the end. Then off to Florence for a private tour of the museum and city. It was a lot to pack into a day excursion but they made it so much fun. Our family will be working with them again next time we are traveling in the area. Thank you again.

Heliana is an excellent guide - she is incredibly knowledgeable about all things we foreigners love about Italy: the food, wines, culinary traditions, Renaissance artists and architecture, small towns and their hidden gems, and the list goes on! A few hours or a few days spent in her company feels more like visiting a friend who is passionate about sharing her world, culture and customs with you. Additionally, she has a large, comfortable van for touring her clients outside of Florence, which is SO incredibly convenient!! True “concierge service”, that made our visit headache free! We had such an incredible experience that I have already made plans to return in the fall specifically to do some truffle-related excursions with Florence Connection. Highly recommend! 5+ stars!
