Amazing day out with Alessio. The Tuscan countryside is unbelievably beautiful - rolling hills of vineyards and olive trees - and these guys take you through the most beautiful parts of it on a bike ride. The bike ride itself is not too difficult. I normally spend all day working in an office and it was fine with my low level of fitness, but be warned that there is a small steep section during the ride! Alessio was very informative, spoke perfect English and we learnt a lot about the local history. If you are spending a few days in Florence, you must take a tour with Alessio and his team at Tuscany Bike Tours - bit of exercise, wine and olive oil tasting, and a bit of fresh air away from the sights of Florence. They also offer a Vespa tour which is the first thing on my list next time I’m back in Tuscany.

Amazing day biking out in the country side. Alesso, our guide, was fantastic. Gave a lot of good info about the wineries we visited along with facts about the region. Biking views were spectacular and all of the guides were very friendly. Very well organized tour, made sure everyone at all levels was comfortable, provided a van for those who got tired biking. The lunch spot they bring you too is delicious as well. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fun excursion into the country side!

Bike tour around the countryside was fantastic. Highly recommended to anyone who can ride a bike. The tour includes a scenic 40 minute car ride from Florence to the castle and back. Our guide Jason kept us entertained with insightful conversation topics on both trips. Great experience overall.

Jason is an AMAZING guide and the tour is beautiful and relaxing. The afternoon is capped off with a delicious lunch and wine as well. It was great for both a novice or experienced biker as both are catered to. Great experience and highly recommend!

I did the Chianti to San Gimignano tour and had a great day! It was a last-minute booking and I was the only person doing the tour - I'm sure it would have been easy just to not run the tour, but I was made to feel very welcome and the booking process was seamless. The route itself is well thought out, lovely scenery and felt safe with very little traffic. As described, the route is somewhat challenging with a few hills, so you would need some level of fitness/cycling experience to do it. There are plenty of other options as well so I'm sure there would be something for everyone. Filippo was a great guide, very personable with lots of local knowledge and passion about the area and its history. Was also happy to answer any and all of my random questions about Tuscan and Italian culture. The day finishes with a visit to San Gimignano followed by a visit to a local farm/vineyard to taste some wine and olive oil. Both of these were great additions to the day - it was great to see a different part of Tuscany and taste some local produce. I've also now been converted to having olive oil with bread, and will only buy Tuscan Olive Oil from now on! Would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a change of pace from all the galleries/museums/churches or to escape the crowds and heat of the city.

My wife and I went on this tour several years ago and had a blast. I didn't post at that time but here we are. We had such a fantastic time the bike tour. In our group, we were the only ones to ride our bikes up the very steep hill at the end just prior to lunch. I appreciated how the guides cheered us on until we got to the top. Then we had great food and a very funny conversation on how American dogs don't love there owners because if we let them our their leashes they run off where Italian dogs don't. I don't recall the names of our guides but thank you for the memories. We WILL be back!!!
