★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My son and I were visiting Florence and decided to add a Tuscany wine tasting trip to the our list. We picked Grape Tours due to its' high ratings, but really didn't do much research on what we were getting into. Wow! We what an amazing and wonderful adventure we stepped into. Our guide Gabrielli was knowledgeable, humorous and helped us understand and appreciate the experience of wine making and tasting. Our lunch was spectacular, and the other 4 in our small group enhanced the experience even more. It was a five star experience we enjoyed through and through. If you have the chance, take this tour.... It makes no sense not too.. Thank you Grape Tours!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Is there a rating above 5 stars? What an amazing private tour with our family of four to the Chianti region with our guide, Ben. He was both friendly and knowledgable. Not all vineyards are open for tours in late December, but Grape Tours took us to two amazing vineyards in the Chianti region, Castello della Paneretta (which we are blessed to be able to buy in the US) and Villa Calcinaia, two very different experiences, but amazing Chianti Classico and Riserva wines (plus meats, cheeses, bread, olive oil and other varietals) and incredible vineyard guides. In between, we ate, or perhaps more accurately, dined at Ristorante Albergaccio di Castellina, where we were served an amazing four course Tuscan lunch (including 3 bottles of wine for 4 people) by the owner. Not sure this trip, or the planning done by Rebecca from Grape Tours, could have been any better, but to top it off, she coordinated with a local wedding officiant to help me pull off a surprise 25th wedding anniversary vow renewal at one of the wineries. Grape Tours goes far, far beyond the tours you find on Viator. They are wonderful and well worth the cost. We are looking forward to our next trip to Italy, and exploring another region with Ben. One additional bonus, they also own a cheese oriented restaurant in Florence that looks incredible. 6 starts, if possible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I joined a tour at the end of November and can totally recommend.
Our guide and driver for the day was very friendly and knowledgeable. He gave explanations and answers that I think were easy to follow even for people who may not know much about wine…definitely not a tour meant only for wine snobs !
I really appreciated the fact that we took our time during the day, no rush.
And of course we tasted pretty good wines in the 2 wineries we visited!

A perfect day in every sense from the weather to the highly knowledgeable and friendly host Gabriele, to the flamboyant Dario Cecchini and his incredible meat dishes, the artisan wineries that produce some scintillating wines and not forgetting the fantastic crew of people that I found myself rubbing shoulders with that day. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worth every penny! We booked the chianti and cheese tour with Paolo as our guide. I will be dreaming over the cheese we tried on this tour forever and the wine was just as amazing. We loved the small tour size and Paolo was super knowledgeable on all things wine. The itinerary was perfectly timed not feel rushed at the wineries. Ordering wine from each place was super easy too if you choose too. Overall was a highlight of our vacation!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing experience! Was certainly a highlight of the honeymoon. Great to experience small batch winery’s in the region rather than large scale producers. Gabriel was knowledgeable, witty and a fantastic guide all day long. We had a fantastic, small group and couldn’t of asked for a better day! 100% worth it and definitely recommend it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Elite Brunello tour with Gabi as our tour guide was the best. Every wine lover should take this tour. Selection of wineries gave us a great understanding of the region and the strict regulations on Brunello. Owners Rebecca and Pierre have developed a fabulous company conducting these tours. AND they have a cheese and wine store Formaggiotecca Terroir filled with the best cheeses and wines. Gabi was truly wonderful!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Could not recommend grape wine tours enough! We booked this half day wine tour to experience the Tuscan countryside on our honeymoon. Our guide, Paolo, was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He felt like a friend towards the end of the day! The wineries were picturesque and the wine was incredible. We even got a special tour from the owner of the second winery we visited. We had modest expectations for lunch that was included, but we were blown away by the feast that was prepared for us. Book with this company now!
