Da qui si intreccetta la asfaltata poi carrareccia che porta verso l'eremo. È situato a pochi chilometri dal paese di San Pietro Avellana, lo si può raggiungere percorrendo una stradina prima dell'ingresso nel paese, provenendo dalla stazione. L'eremo è un posto di preghiera e meditazione all'interno della piccola ma curata chiesetta dedicata al Santo ma è anche un posto ben attrezzato, nel bosco circostante con tavoli e barbecue e servizi igienici, per passare una bella giornata con la famiglia. All'ingresso c'è anche una fonte di acqua sorgiva, sempre fresca e potabile, che la storia racconta sia stata creata proprio grazie ad un miracolo di Sant'Amico che con il suo bastone creò un buco nella roccia da dove non ha mai smesso di fuoriuscire acqua. Oltre l'eremo c'è un bellissimo percorso segnalato da fare nel bosco, per gli appassionati di escursionismo. Beautiful place nestled in the woods of Molise.
