But the view is in good weather a good argument for a visit.

The church has already been remembered since the 10th century. In 1489 it received the title of parish church and was completely restored. A radical makeover both of the interior, prolonged with the addition of two arms at the presbytery, and of the facade, elevated in the upper part, was carried out from 1793 and completed around 1820. The facade, further remodeled, is hut with central oculus.
In the interior with a single nave there is a fifteenth-century carved marble stoup and the painted tablet depicting the Madonna and Child with Saint Augustine supporting the castle of Roccatederighi, referable to a Sienese painter of the early seventeenth century.

Einfach ein wunderschöner Ort und gute Restaurants.
A dreamlike place from the Middle Ages, we liked it very much ??. Have stayed there with the children twice and made very nice trips to the surrounding area. In the summer it is much better to stand there than down by the sea ? ?.
Just a beautiful place and good restaurants.

At the very edge of the town of Roccategerighi, built on a rock, is the modest stone church of San Martino. From behind the church, from the rock, a beautiful view of Maremma, all the way to the sea.

It has memories already from the 10th century, in 1489 it became a parish church and was renovated in a particularly prolonged and raised way.
The facade is gabled with a central oculus.
In the single-nave interior there is a fifteenth-century carved marble stoup and the painted tablet depicting the Madonna and Child with Saint Augustine supporting the castle of Roccatederighi
