-The final price on the webpage had nothing to do with the final priced charge. That I didn't liked at all.
-Location for tourism not great. For that price you can find something in old town. It takes 40 min in tram to get to old town.

โ โ โ โ โ I tend to stay in doubletrees wherever I can and once again they never disappoint, especially in major cities where its always inflated they are always well priced and the service is spot on everytime. Great friendly reception and you can never go wrong with their complimentary hot cookies.

โ โ โ โ โ I called three times ahead to inform them of my late check-in and at no point did they or even the Hilton app to which I booked with inform me of ANY of the necessary requirements for checking in. That being a Negative Covid Test and an Italian app called a "Green Pass". So safe to say check in was very stressful as my partner and I had to explain to the front desk agent at 1:30 in the morning that we didn't know about any of this as we had come from Western Europe where all of those rules had been laxed.
Even after getting a negative test a local pharmacy the app STILL didn't work for me as every restaurant/shop I went into, it keep showing up as "Invalidated' despite the negative test.
And no help was given to me from the front desk as how to resolve this or why my 3 doses given in the states wasn't accepted.
Don't think it worth returning to this hotel or even Italy for this matter until some of these restrictions are resolved are loosened a bit, as it was such a hassle for what was otherwise could a been a nice vacation. Not to mention not having any help on how to navigate the app as it is ALL in Italian which makes it hard for foreigners right?
The only reason I don't give this property a One Star is because I saw they were doing noble work hosting many Ukrainian families who had been displaced by the war. Which was really heart warming to see. Just think it would be illogical and tone deaf to ask refugees fleeing a dangerous war, "If they have their GREEN PASS?"

โ โ โ โ โ This hotel is definitely not impressive as a business hotel. It is in a rough industrial looking area.
We reserved 9 rooms at a price that was to give us full service. Yet when we arrived, most of the services were not offered due to reduced staff. The current price at that time reflected this reduced service. However we had paid a few months earlier and they would not reduce our price to the current price. We were very displeased and could not believe a Hilton could offer such terrible service. In addition we were charged for breakfast when it was included in the original price we paid. This was finally credited but it took a good fight to get the credit. Hilton lost our business going forward.

โ โ โ โ โ The receptionist was very helpful to us on the day of our check-in, we even got free cookies! The room was very modern and clean. The location is about 15 min tram ride from the city center and the tram station is conveniently located about 3-5 min walk from the hotel. Just FYI, if you want to use the public transportation in Milan, download the ATM Milano app to purchase digital tickets; we were fumbling all morning trying to figure out how to buy tickets since tobacco shops often sell out.

โ โ โ โ โ The rooms, staff and location are fantastic to stay in Milan and attend work on the outskirts. The room is big, confortable bed, while the bathroom might need a refurbishment. The bar has a great selection of liquor and the bartender puts a lot of care to make excellent presented drinks. It doesn't get a 5* because the restaurant menu is poor, specially the breakfast below Italian standards. Parking is also limited and sometimes filled quickly.
