★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We thoroughly enjoyed our cooking school experience and were very appreciative that it went ahead with only the two of us enrolled. Marco was very knowledgeable and keen to share information about the local area, the country and its history, culture and of course the food. We began with a visit to the Central Markets, which was very cold in winter, we had a few tastings and collected meat for the cooking experience. We watched and learnt how to make a real bolognese sauce and a cherry tomato sauce, gaining tips on how to bring out the most flavours. We made tiramisu together and had a bit of a break with more tastings and Chianti. We also learnt how to make pasta and formed it into tagliatelle and ravioli and then got to eat it all. Everything we learnt will be easy to repeat once we get home again and will remind us of this excellent experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful time making pasta and tiramisu. John and Katrina were our chefs. They did s great job. It was fun to make pasta as I have never done that before.
I recommend this class. It is about 5 hours long so plan accordingly. You get a tour of the local market which is fun an informative. Sone samples of meat and cheese are provided and were yummy.
