★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Update: 5 years ago we took the week-long class. We decided to come back and take the month-long class. It was a fantastic experience. We wish it would have lasted a month longer. really wonderful. I posted a bunch of additional pictures.
We recently spent 3 weeks in Florence. The thing we both vividly remember and enjoy was our week long class at the Giglio cooking school. Marcella was a wonderful teacher and a delight. We learned so many valuable and useful techniques. We were astonished how easy it was to make truly tasteful and memorable meals. I would enthusiastically recommend Marcella's school to anybody seeking cooking lessons in Tuscany.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been in Florence for over a month and spent the first 4 weeks at Giglio Cooking with Marcella. She taught the basics of cooking all the way to food presentation, recipe and menu modification, and how to love Florence. No matter what the request was, Marcella was always more than willing to go above and beyond her cooking courses to make it an amazing experience. I highly suggest that you see her, if even for a private 2 hour class.

The course teaches you many of the fundamentals of Italian cooking, and the content is applicable for new cooks and seasoned chefs. She’s absolutely brilliant, funny, open minded, and her team is equally talented. Thank you Marcella and Marta!
