The little things, the details, the treatment, there is a filosophy behind, a way of understanding the act of eating as a sacred ritual and craftsmanship. Dishes that are changing and always with the best raw material. All homemade. Traditional Roman food with a sieve of refinement and style. For people in no hurry. Long life slow food.

The roasted octopus melts in your mouth, the squid ink pasta is cooked perfectly, tiramisu is creamy and not too sweet, and the carbona is made with handmade pasta and is just divine. The seats fill up as the evening passes and the service is superb ?.

By the time our primi piatti arrived we knew why: home-made pasta, the carbonara with crispy guanciale and perfectly seasoned, the strozzapretti all'amatriciana just as good. The service was quick, and our waiter was very attentive as well as funny. The secondi were excellent as well, I had Polpettine with a rich tomato sauce with pink garlic. In fact, I loved it so much I ordered the same dish on our last night again. And of course, the desserts were fantastic too! A creamy, very rich but not overly sweet Tiramisú and a hot chocolate cake with pistachio ice cream was the perfect way to end a wonderful first dinner in the eternal city! Very greasy. Service is slow which personally doesn’t bother me, but my husband did not like that. If you are looking for a place where they will check on you more often and place an order in a timely manner this is not the place. It took good amount of time to get menus and place our order. We ordered water twice, never got it but we got charged for it.
