A very local place, where you will run into more locals than tourists.
Food is paid by weight, so you can order small servings of different things. They have lots of local food.
A bit rustic dining room, and service just okay. Bt the food and the local twist makes up for it.
Do like the romans do. try it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ancient bakery shop with an open air laboratory. The prices are quite convenient compared with the restaurants/cafe surrounding. Try the focaccia stuffed with local vegetables and the delicious biscuits with chocolate drops. The staff is ok and kind. It may get very busy around lunch time. There a space to eat in though.

Got some pastry and went to the cashier, when I presented a 20 euro note the geriatric guy at the counter went crazy, started to scream at me in Italian and refused service. All because apparently he didn't have change. Completely uncalled for behavior. Stay away from this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ideal place to eat homemade pastry. Not overpriced, cooked with souls, only fresh dishes. Mostly are very tasty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped here a couple times for pastries. The person on the till the first time was a little unfriendly but the people actually serving us the pastries on both occasions were nice. Our favourite treats were the various sfogliatelle filled with sweetened cream and custard, and some delicious little almond cookies filled with cherry jam.
