★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely rude owner, felt that he was dismissive and maybe discriminatory as he gave seats to a few people that came after us but did not accomodate us when there were seats available. The waiter was uncomfortable as he did not know how to justify turning us down. Shame on the owner!!! Really unpleasant behaviour!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have just returned from Italy. We visited Sperlonga on the 29th Aug 17. We had a meal at Martines restaurant for our 25th Wedding anniversary. It was one of the most pleasant nights out weve had. The reastaurant was busy and the evening was warm and wonderful. The staff were very pleasant and spoke to us in both italian and english. The courses were very nice and the wine and beer excellent. We will definitely be calling again the next time we are in Sperlonga.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s a shame that I have to give this place a 1 star because the food is good, but unfortunately - as someone else mentions as well - the owner is extremely rude. I kindly mentioned that I did not get any vongole/clams in my pasta dish, and he then started shouting over the table telling me that my other friends at the table had enough clams and that I could pick it from their plates. Not acceptable behaviour from a restaurant owner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The view and setting is amazing. The fish is fresh. Vongole pasta was good but light on vongole. The owner isn’t a natural when it comes to customer service. Not sure why he bothered with the face mask as it was round his chin! Overall it’s a four but mainly because ot the view which is stunning
