The only thing in favor is the fact that the property is located in a quiet area close to the center and 5 minutes from the "Accademia" vaporetto stop. There was no breakfast, the bed squeaky and noisy, as soon as you moved it made absurd creaks, the shower cubicle completely detached, to make it stand up you had to hold it with your hands otherwise you would fall on him, not to mention the smell of mold and acid that not only had the room but also the towels. I really didn't like it

If you want to spend the right amount (for Venice, because you pay half the price for a room like this in any other city), being in a decentralized position but close to the ferries to San Marco and staying for a weekend at most as accommodation can go. The room is clean, the bed very comfortable. In the bathroom there is no bidet, the toilet table and the toilet are broken, the hair dryer is missing (it broke two days before ... And you buy one from three balls and a lira!), Inside a bedside table we found a dirty sock . The manager speaks very little Italian, is kind but almost always says no to requests! On the last day he allowed us to keep our bags until the afternoon for a last tour of the city but when we got back he didn't let us use the bathroom even for a minute.

Corte Vecchia was a lovely little B&B. Perfect location, near the Grand Canal yet on a quiet street with a a very local feel. One of the nearest small bar restaurants is actually one of the highest rated in Venice. I can definitely recommend a stay here.

It’s a small B&B style owned by a family. The location is great. Just 5 mins walk from the dock. The room is clean. But it’s not easy to access due to key issues. You should contact the owner first before you check in. The water pressure is low in the bathroom.
