★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir sind mit den Booten von Lido zu den Borromäischen Inseln gefahren. Jede halbe Stunde fährt ein Boot zu den Inseln Isola Bella, Isola Madre und Isola dei Pescatori. Ein schöner Ausflug, wenn man am Lago Maggiore nicht nur Baden möchte. Man sollte allerdings mit ca. 5 Stunden rechnen, wenn alle drei Inseln besucht werden möchten. Die Preise dort für Essen und Trinken sind teils happig, jedoch kann man sich ja auch etwas einpacken und dort dann picknicken. Die Boote fahren zuverlässig und sicher, die Kapitäne sind freundlich und auskunftsbereit. Preislich waren wir bei 25€ für 4 Personen, also alles noch im Rahmen.
We took the boats from Lido to the Borromean Islands. Every half hour there is a boat to the islands of Isola Bella, Isola Madre and Isola dei Pescatori. A nice excursion if you don't just want to swim on Lake Maggiore. However, you should expect about 5 hours if you want to visit all three islands. The prices for food and drink are sometimes steep, but you can also pack something and have a picnic there. The boats run reliably and safely, the captains are friendly and ready to provide information. We were priced at € 25 for 4 people, so everything was still within limits.
