★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Posto veramente bello dove si può trascorrere una bella settimana con la famiglia . Ci sono cose da vedere e da fare sia ad Alfedena che nei dintorni. Consigliato anche per i piccoli dove ce una bella villetta con giochini e che non si svolgeranno. Aria pulita lontano da smog,si sta veramente bene.
Really nice place where you can spend a nice week with the family. There are things to see and do both in Alfedena and in the surrounding area. Also recommended for the little ones where there is a nice house with toys and that will not take place. Clean air away from smog, it's really good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Posto che amo, ho una casetta in Via Atina ma mio malgrado devo dire le amministrazioni non si attivano per rendere l atmosfera magica,strade buie e senza luminarie, è uno dei tanti motivi che non trascorrere le feste.... 3 anni fa ,c erano le luci vicino ai lampioni,sono andata appena via,buio pesto ....... che tristezza....basterebbe cosi poco....buon Natale...
Given that I love, I have a house in Via Atina but in spite of myself I have to say the administrations do not take action to make the atmosphere magical, dark streets and without lights, it is one of the many reasons not to spend the holidays .... 3 years ago, c were the lights near the street lamps, I just went away, pitch dark ....... what sadness .... it would be enough so little .... Merry Christmas ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ...che dire di questo luogo? beh è davvero speciale! un amore a prima vista che non ho lasciato più solo come luogo di passaggio turistico; ho acquistato casa e non me ne sono mai pentito...luogo ideale per gli amanti della montagna in tutti i periodi dell'anno. Percorsi incantevoli, tanti laghi, piste per sciare e tutto a pochi km di distanza... questo perché è situata strategicamente tra Barrea, Villetta Barrea, castel di Sangro, lago di scanno, Pescasseroli, Pescocostanzo, Rivisondoli, Opi etc etc. In paese invece si possono fare bellissime passeggiate attorno il fiume Rio Torto , nella bellissima villa dove ci si può rilassare da Luca al Chiosco mentre i bimbi sono liberi di divertirsi sui giochi messi a disposizione. I più grandi hanno i campi da calcio, da tennis e quello da basket per fare attività sportive. Per la spesa ci sono tutti i negozi necessari, uno su tutti il minimarket di Delio e famiglia oppure Marcello con la sua ottima carne...ma cosa più importante è che qui la gente è tranquilla con ritmi completamente diversi da noi di città e questo rilassa davvero tanto. Il paese merita davvero e anche per dormire ci sta comunque la possibilità di affittare appartamenti o camere nei pochi alberghi presenti. W Alfedena
... what about this place? well it's really special! a love at first sight that I have no longer left alone as a place of tourist passage; I bought a house and I have never regretted it ... ideal place for mountain lovers at all times of the year. Enchanting paths, many lakes, ski slopes and everything just a few km away ... this is because it is strategically located between Barrea, Villetta Barrea, Castel di Sangro, Lake Scanno, Pescasseroli, Pescocostanzo, Rivisondoli, Opi etc etc. In the village, on the other hand, you can take beautiful walks around the Rio Torto river, in the beautiful villa where you can relax at Luca al Chiosco while the children are free to have fun on the games made available. The older ones have football, tennis and basketball courts for sporting activities. For shopping there are all the necessary shops, one above all the Delio and family minimarket or Marcello with his excellent meat ... but more importantly, here people are quiet with completely different rhythms from us in the city and this really relaxes a lot. The country really deserves and even to sleep there is still the possibility of renting apartments or rooms in the few hotels present. W Alfedena
