Altre pregevoli opere tra cui i dipinti come " l'angelo annunciante e la Madonna" di Claudio Ridolfi. L'organo, posto sopra la cantoria, è opera della ditta Inzoli da Crema e datato 1920. Merita la visita. Beyond the entrance, above the altar, appears the stupendous wooden Crucifix by Pietro da Rimini of 1315. Other valuable works including paintings such as "the angel announcing and the Madonna" by Claudio Ridolfi. The organ, placed above the choir, is the work of the company Inzoli da Crema and dated 1920. Worth a visit.
E	Edmund Mart on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Le origini della chiesa risalgono all'antica abbazia benedettina di San Cristoforo del Ponte del IX secolo. L'edificio fu ristrutturato dall'Abate Commendatario cardinale Bessarione nella seconda metà del XV secolo: in questa occasione furono traslate nella cattedrale le reliquie del Santo, racchiuse in un magnifico reliquiario appositamente foggiato nel 1472, ancor oggi posto in venerazione durante le celebrazioni patronali (25 luglio). La chiesa divenne cattedrale della nuova diocesi di Urbania, istituita il 18 febbraio 1636. Successivamente, per volere del vescovo mons. Deodato Baiardi, nel Settecento la chiesa fu nuovamente ristrutturata in forme neoclassiche su disegno dell'architetto Giuseppe Tosi. Tardive sono invece la facciata (1870) e il nuovo campanile (1958): resta tuttavia sul fianco l'antica torre campanaria medievale. Di notevole valore storico-artistico è il Crocifisso ligneo di Pietro da Rimini del 1320, ed alcune opere manieristiche di Giustino Episcopi e Giorgio Picchi. The origins of the church date back to the ancient Benedictine abbey of San Cristoforo del Ponte from the 9th century. The building was renovated by the Abbot Commendatory Cardinal Bessarione in the second half of the 15th century: on this occasion the relics of the Saint were moved to the cathedral, enclosed in a magnificent reliquary specially fashioned in 1472, still today placed in veneration during patronal celebrations ( July 25). The church became the cathedral of the new diocese of Urbania, established on February 18, 1636. Subsequently, at the behest of the bishop Msgr. Deodato Baiardi, in the eighteenth century the church was renovated again in neoclassical forms based on a design by the architect Giuseppe Tosi. The façade (1870) and the new bell tower (1958) are however late: however, the ancient medieval bell tower remains on the side. Of considerable historical and artistic value is the wooden Crucifix by Pietro da Rimini from 1320, and some mannerist works by Giustino Episcopi and Giorgio Picchi.

K	Kai Amelung on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eine beeindruckende Kathedrale mitten im Zentrum von Urbania. Parkplätze ca 50 m entfernt gegen Parkgebühren. Der Zugang ist barrierefrei und kostenlos. Ein sehr gepflegter und mit vielen Kunstwerken gestalteter Kirchenraum. Ein Besuch ist sehr empfehlenswert.
