★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Costruita in stile romanico pugliese nella seconda metà del 1100, è stata poi interamente ricostruita all'interno e il campanile in stile barocco a seguito del terremoto del 1731. Si venera la Madonna dei Sette Veli. Grazie agli interventi di restauro effettuati negli anni, oggi appare più bella e luminosa, al suo interno interessanti tele e sculture e fra le testimonianze artistiche di maggior pregio vi è la cappella dell'Iconavetere e il miracoloso Crocifisso ligneo settecentesco.
 Built in the Apulian Romanesque style in the second half of 1100, it was then entirely rebuilt inside and the bell tower in Baroque style following the earthquake of 1731. The Madonna dei Sette Veli is venerated. Thanks to the restoration work carried out over the years, today it appears more beautiful and luminous, inside interesting paintings and sculptures and among the most valuable artistic testimonies there is the Iconavetere chapel and the miraculous eighteenth-century wooden crucifix.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Basilica in stile romanico pugliese con interni e campanile alto 50 metri in stile barocco. La costruzione risale al 1170 in seguito al ritrovamento da parte di un pastore in un pantano(attuale Piazza del Lago) del Sacro tavolo della Madonna avvolta in sette veli. Pianta a croce latina con altari in marmo policromi. Notevole l'altare maggiore, l'altare della Madonna Iconavete e l'altare con crocifisso ligneo. Da visitare il succorpo/cripta a tre navate con statue della passione e le tompe dei vescovi.
Basilica in Apulian Romanesque style with interiors and 50 meters high bell tower in Baroque style. The construction dates back to 1170 following the discovery by a shepherd in a quagmire (now Piazza del Lago) of the sacred table of the Madonna wrapped in seven veils. Latin cross plan with polychrome marble altars. The main altar, the altar of the Madonna Iconavete and the altar with wooden crucifix are noteworthy. To visit the succorpo / crypt with three naves with statues of the passion and the tombs of the bishops.
