Not very large Baroque church officiated in Polish. Its peculiarity is the numerous statues both on the facade and on the four altars of the interior. The simple and linear architecture gives it an elegant and collected aspect. I recommend a visit if you pass nearby

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chiesa del culto cristiano polacco, semi distrutta nell'ultimo dopo guerra e quasi completamente ricostruita. Sul lato destro esterno della chiesa la parte non ricostruita.
Church of the Polish Christian cult, semi destroyed in the last post-war period and almost completely rebuilt. On the right external side of the church the unrebuilt part.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In questo periodo la chiesa di Santa Maria alla Porta è chiusa, riaprirà il primo settembre, mi riprometto di ritornare per quando riapre.
Le foto pubblicate riguardano la fiancata della chiesa della Cappella della Madonna dei Miracoli con il pavimento barocco andato perduto dopo i bombardamenti del 1943 e ritrovato durante i restauri sotto uno strato di cemento della cappella stessa.
In this period the church of Santa Maria alla Porta is closed, it will reopen on September 1st, I plan to return for when it reopens.
The photos published concern the side of the church of the Chapel of the Madonna of the Miracles with the baroque floor lost after the bombing of 1943 and found during the restoration under a layer of cement in the chapel itself.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chiesa frequentata da fedeli di nazionalità polacca, ma non solo. Non molto grande ma con delle statue di buona qualità, con icone e dipinti di origine nord-europea. Sorge a poca distanza dalla sede della borsa di Milano in una zona abbastanza tranquilla ma facilmente raggiungibile con i mezzi pubblici. Grazie alla scalinata che conduce dal sagrato alle entrate è molto scenografica, la facciata è ben tenuta e qualitativamente apprezzabile.
Church frequented by faithful of Polish nationality, but not only. Not very big but with good quality statues, with icons and paintings of North European origin. It is located a short distance from the headquarters of the Milan stock exchange in a fairly quiet area but easily accessible by public transport. Thanks to the staircase leading from the churchyard to the entrances it is very scenic, the facade is well maintained and qualitatively appreciable.
