★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Chiesa Parrocchiale di San Sebastiano fu realizzata nel 1631 in stile tardo-barocco con sfumature neoclassiche. Era l'antica cappella del palazzo baronale o castello, trasformato ampiamente nel XVII secolo nell'attuale palazzo Santucci. La chiesa è frutto di un rifacimento del XVIII secolo, che ha alterato l'esterno, che non è caratterizzato da una facciata vera e propria, in quanto verso il paese, la chiesa mostra il fianco destro, con il portale di accesso, architravato con timpano tardo manierista, di origine romanica per l'archivolto a tutto sesto, ma con decorazioni vegetali e putti tipicamente manieristi, e mostra un campanile inglobato nel fianco, con un loggiato tardo rinascimentale di due grandi archi con le campane, e una piccola macchina a gabbia metallica per le campane fisse. L'interno non l'ho potuto visitare perché la chiesa, durante la mia visita a Navelli, era chiusa
The Parish Church of San Sebastiano was built in 1631 in a late Baroque style with neoclassical nuances. It was the ancient chapel of the baronial palace or castle, extensively transformed in the 17th century into the current Santucci palace. The church is the result of an eighteenth-century reconstruction, which altered the exterior, which is not characterized by a real facade, as towards the town, the church shows the right side, with the access portal, architrave with Late Mannerist tympanum, of Romanesque origin for the rounded archivolt, but with typically Mannerist plant decorations and cherubs, and shows a bell tower incorporated into the side, with a late Renaissance loggia with two large arches with bells, and a small metal cage for fixed bells. I was unable to visit the interior because the church was closed during my visit to Navelli
