★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Navelli è un borgo incantevole e la sua posizione strategica permette di visitare sia la valle del Tirino che il Gran Sasso, la Majella e il Sirente Velino.
Il paese si divide fra una parte completamente ristrutturata, molto bella, una con lavori di recupero ancora in corso dopo il sisma del 2009 (si vede tutto il lavoro fatto e quello ancora in corso!) e una parte veramente storica, rimasta vuota dopo il periodo di emigrazione.
La parte storica, essendo già disabitata da molto tempo prima del terremoto, è stata danneggiata in modo pesante, ma ci sono grandi lavori in corso per recuperare la bellezza di questo luogo e spero vada tutto per il meglio.
Nel frattempo, paradossalmente, ha un fascino inquietante visitare anche le case più antiche, vuote, con le loro porte buie che si aprono sulla strada. Bisogna fare attenzione, naturalmente, ma è molto interessante.

 Navelli is an enchanting village and its strategic position allows you to visit both the Tirino valley and the Gran Sasso, the Majella and the Sirente Velino.
The town is divided between a completely renovated, very beautiful part, one with recovery work still in progress after the 2009 earthquake (you can see all the work done and the one still in progress!) And a truly historic part, which remained empty after the period of emigration.
The historical part, being already uninhabited for a long time before the earthquake, was heavily damaged, but there are great works in progress to recover the beauty of this place and I hope everything goes for the best.
Meanwhile, paradoxically, it has a disturbing charm to visit even the oldest, empty houses with their dark doors opening onto the street. You have to be careful, of course, but it's very interesting.
