The Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie, located on the islet of Ischia Ponte which houses the Aragonese Castle, was built in the 16th century. Enlarged on previous constructions at the beginning of the 1500s, it was intended for a congregation of fishermen. It is overlooking the sea.

Viene chiamata anche: "S. Maria dell'Ortodonico" o per la sua posizione: "Madonna della Punta".
Inside the Aragonese Castle, set in the rock and overlooking the sea, the little church was built on previous structures and, opened for worship in the early 16th century, was destined for the local Fishermen's Congregation. It is also called: "S. Maria dell'Ortodonico" or because of its position: "Madonna della Punta".
