B	B.TT. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fondato nel 1575 da Beatrice Quadra, vedova d'Avalos, ospitava circa 40 monache dell'ordine delle Clarisse, provenienti dall'eremo di S. Nicola sul monte Epomeo dove avevano fissato la loro prima dimora. Le monache, in gran parte figlie primogenite di famiglie nobili, erano destinate alla vita claustrale già in età infantile per lasciare l'eredità familiare al primo figlio maschio. Il Convento fu soppresso nel 1810 con la legge di secolarizzazione emanata da Gioacchino Murat, Re di Napoli: le monache superstiti, nel numero di 16, si trasferirono prima nel palazzo dei marchesi Lanfreschi in Ischia Ponte e poi nel convento di S. Antonio. Founded in 1575 by Beatrice Quadra, widow of Avalos, it housed about 40 nuns of the order of the Poor Clares, coming from the hermitage of St. Nicholas on Mount Epomeo where they had established their first dwelling. The nuns, mostly firstborn daughters of noble families, were destined for the cloistered life already in childhood to leave the family inheritance to the first male child. The convent was suppressed in 1810 with the law of secularization issued by Joachim Murat, King of Naples: the surviving nuns, in the number of 16, moved first to the palace of the Marquises Lanfreschi in Ischia Ponte and then to the convent of S. Antonio.

L'androne e il chiostro, coperti di vegetazione e di fiori, hanno un grande fascino arcadico. Al piano inferiore il piccolo cimitero sotterraneo con i sedili-scolatoio è una testimonianza storica di rilievo. The entrance hall and the cloister, covered with vegetation and flowers, have a great Arcadian charm. On the lower floor, the small underground cemetery with draining board seats is an important historical testimony.
