★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I must disagree with another review that said they didn't feel welcome as non-locals. The food was delicious, and every employee greeted us with a smile and was patient with our poor Italian—our server did speak some English and gave us great recommendations for what to eat. All the dishes were great, but especially the seafood (fried anchovies & spaghetti di mare).
Ischia is a tourist destination, so I'm sure there are many others who visit from all parts of the world. I'm sure if you are willing to try a little Italian it may help things go smoothly, but I wouldn't want any non-Italian speakers to be scared off. A great value in a beautiful location.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ate here on our wedding day for lunch after taking photographs at the Aragonese Castle. We were greeted by the owner and taken to a table with the perfect view of the castle. The views from this restaurant are amazing. We were given lots of attention (kind of expected as we were wearing our wedding attire). The food was great, especially the calamari. We even got bibs, so we wouldn't mess up our suit and dress. What a fun memory on our special day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The waiters are attentive and polite. Great view of the castle. Baby calamari fritti is to die for. Their batter is not thick. Ask for cocktail list. If you’re using a non-EU card, make sure you let the waiter know NOT to accept conversion.
