★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a turist trap in my opinion. Expensive and at the same time no finess with the food. The dishes was really smal so we were still hungry. I would not recomend you to fal for the tempating location in front of the sea, beacuae the food is really low class compared to other restaurangs in the same area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Let me just precise that I didn't have the chance to try the amazing dishes that I read about on the other reviews. Nonetheless, I feel obliged to write one myself to thank them for their incredible kindness.
In August 2020 I was visiting the island of Ischia, but when it was time to enter the castle of Aragona, I discovered that I had lost my anti-COVID mask, so I couldn't join the rest of the group. I was in a hurry, so I walked back along the bridge and asked the restaurant staff if they could show me a place where I could get a new mask. Surprisingly, they offered to give me one of their fabric masks (obviously sealed and never used). They even refused to let me buy a bottle in exchange, leaving me only a business card and the promise of a future visit to the restaurant if I ever return to the island.
Absolutely friendly and courteous manager and staff. I invite readers to try their cuisine and enjoy the magnificent view that I was only able to enjoy for a brief moment.

Nice staff and a great location. A bit expansive compared to other restaurants, but i guess its the location you pay for. Either way, its worth a visit!

The seafood tasted excellent; quite possibly the best mussels I've ever had. The pasta was rich and delicious too.
The service is wonderful and I would highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Edit 6/17/18: Wonderful experience again. One of the best places to sit on a beautiful evening directly next to the see with the sun setting on the Aragonese Castle in full view. Delicious gnocchi con zucchine e gamberi (Gnocchi with zucchini sauce and shrimp) and very fresh. They let you know on the menu that your meals are cooked to order so this is not a place for a quick bite! /// This is homemade Italian food made by family members in the kitchen. It’s fresh and delicious. I ate here multiple times while I was exploring Ischia and the service was gracious each time. I was able to request that they prepare me the ragù of rabbit that is typical of Ischia and With a day or two request they had prepared it for me and it was superb. The seating and views are spectacular, especially near sunset. The fried anchovies (alici) were crisp, white, and fresh.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel Terme Alexander! I'm so glad we were directed to this hidden gem! The food was delicious, the service was superb and the views were stunning! Overlooking the castle and ocean, this restaurant had charm and elegance! We had the best carrot cake ever! It was better than any American carrot cake I've had! Definitely a must when you travel to Ischia!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to this family restaurant 2 times, the first visit was perfect. We had the slices ham, salami, grilled vegetables, and mozarella as appetizer, it was super good. The best is the paccheri with clams and zucchini. The view is also amazing with the castle and the sea (the sunset is beautiful!). But the second visit is bit disappointed, we had the grilled octopus and it was hard to chew and way too salty. That why its get only 3 stars.
